Moving Light Assistant v1.4.1 Released

Moving Light Assistant v1.4.1 has been released and can be downloaded from the Download page.

This release is primarily a maintenance release for compatibility on both macOS and Windows OS machines. This release includes the latest Canon drivers (as of 15th September 2026)

Version 1.4.1 is compatible with Intel and ARM based macOS computers. The build for Windows OS is a 64-bit build.

Moving Light Assistant show documents are backward and forward compatible with the previous release versions 1.2 through to 1.4.

Feature highlights include…

  • Importing of cue photos to attach to cues in the Cue List view (useful when cue photos were captured using VOR).
  • Latest Canon EDSDK 13.20.21.
  • Improved basic grandMA3 support, bug fixes and the Cue List view can now follow the console using OSC.
  • Preset Documentation view – Added Hide/Show Annotations.
  • Preset Documentation view – It is now possible to directly edit the Channel, Fixture and Fixture Type cells.
  • It is possible to add a delay when automatically taking cue photos.
  • Scripts can now be triggered using OSC.

Full grandMA3 support will be coming in the next major release, which hopefully will enter beta testing in the next few months.
